Spot The Error

Can you spot the errors here? What's wrong with this picture?

Its Time Again

Its time of the year again. Besides Chinese New Year, it is also the time where I'll be clearing all my leaves. Which means I'll have 1 month of offdays (^^)

Isn't it great to get paid for staying at home? Not cheating the company but these are what I'm entitled to.

Crocs Boutique

Was wondering in Ikano today and saw this. Crocs is finally having a boutique here in Malaysia. If I'm not wrong, I think this is the first in Malaysia.

A New Phone

Soon, I will have a new phone. A W850i to be exact. I had redeemed it with my Digi bonus points today. Results of whether I got the phone will be available at the end of the month. Man, I hoped to get a white one.

6000pts for 1 new phone. Not bad. Just take it as a gift for supporting Digi for so long.

Yup, some might say 6000pts is quite a lot of money leh. Indeed, its a lot of money spent. But at least I'm getting something back now.

What the hell, forget about the numbers as long as I get a new phone.

My E-Business

Since I'm a fan of all crazy and useless stuffs, I'm thinking to myself, why don't I start a website selling all these rubbish/gadgets online. Who knows, I might be next tycoon. (^^)

William

This is one eating establishment which no one will believes that they serves Italian food. Located near the old Lim Kok Weng building in Taman Mayang, PJ. Any first timers there would think that it looked like just any other mamak.
In fact, they serve Italian food at a not quite reasonable price. Although the portion of food is large enough, the location they are at is a bit dilapidated. I would expect a more proper place to dine.

Pissed Off

Aren't you pissed at drivers, when at stuck at a jam still try to squeeze their way thru even though the traffic lights had already turn green on my side.

And this car in front of me WLM 3038, a Toyota Vios is trying to make a U-turn into the jam.

CB, cannot queue up properly is it?

A Different Feel

It is always nice to go shopping in the middle of the night. Less crowd, more carparks, a different feel and an even lousier service. Me and KKpan went to Carrefour Kepong for a midnight shopping trip yesterday. Just for the fun of it and to waste some time away from the office.
Everything was good except that we had to wait for a sissy cashier trying to scan the items clumsily. The time spent queueing at that lane is much longer then the time we spent shopping inside.

Is It True?

Malaysia's trade for 2006 breached the RM1 trillion mark. And due to the recent rally of the stock market, strengthening of the Ringgit against the Dollar, and of course, the exported value. Are the good times really back as reported in all major newspapers today? Even if we had a positive word from the Finance Ministry, how true is true?

Although the Ringgit is now RM 3.50 to USD 1.00, the stockmarket index increased 24% in the last 3 months. What does that means to the people?

Does that means that people are going to get a big pay package, a big bonus from their companies, some incentives from the Government or better infrastructure for Malaysians? Will the people gets to enjoy the fruits of labour together, having to put up with all the numerous increments within the last 24 months? Petrol and toll increments are the most significant and effects almost all who owns a vehicle.

Will the Government reward the people for having tolled so hard throughout these years of so call "Economic Crisis"?

I personally salute to those extraordinary companies who made this RM 1Tr export figure a fact.

I also salute those factors who strengthen the Ringgit against the Dollar.

But I detest those who gamble in the stock markets when they see a chance to make a quick buck. I felt that they are creating another bubble like the one prior to the 1997 crisis. A 24% increment in the composite index in the last 3 months is just too fast in my own opinions. Making it a 8% increase per month. IF the current CI is 1248.83, what will happen if this continue for another 10 months? Does that means that we can expect the CI to hit over 2000 pts in October?

Call me a skeptic. But how well will Malaysia be prepared if another crisis happens again?

Let us hope, pray and see in the near future.

What would you really want yourself if the the good times are really back?

Innovation By Malaysia Tourism Board

I can't help but to wonder what the hell is this signage doing here just outside the Pudu Jail? What are the responsible body trying to say? To tell the jailmates(if any) in Pudu Jail to go to the places of interest once you have step out of jail? Or is it to tell the foreign visitors that YES, Bukit Bintang area is always in heavy jam and you can walk to your desire destination if you want to.

I wonder will this sign still be there after VMY 2007.

Seeing is Believing

My brother, aged 26, single but attached, had a very bad habit since his was a baby. That is sucking his thumb while sleeping. I have a photo to prove too!!
I think he's gonna kill me when he found out that I had posted his photo in my blog. (^^)

1 Year

It's almost 1 year since I got my car. 359 days to be exact. And time to renew my road tax. Meaning money gone........

What to do? Have to renew mah, else don't drive lo.

So I need to collect my original registration card at Public Bank.

I remembered correctly the last time I sign some documents, the registration card was there. But this morning, they told me that they had transferred to Damansara Utama Branch.

And I almost got myself a summon for parking illegally at the roadside while enquiring about my registration card at the bank.So in the end, I had to make my way to the Damansara Utama Branch. And this time, I found myself a legal parking space.

Wedding Dinner

Just reached home from a wedding dinner in Puchong, Kinrara. I never like wedding dinner dishes. But this is one of the best I had in years so far. But the continuity of the dishes are real slow. Started at 8.30pm ended at 11.00pm. Although 2.30hrs is normal, I felt that we can finish earlier.
